Gandhinagar: The head clerk paper leak case taken by Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board has come up with big news. The exam has been canceled after the scam came to light. The announcement was made by Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi. All 14 accused in the scam have been arrested.
Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi said that in the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to cancel the examination of Head Clerk. The written examination of the head clerk is canceled. The re-examination of the head clerk will be held in the month of March. If someone is getting older, he will be given a waiver. After discussions with the Secondary Service Selection Board, it has been decided to cancel the examination of Head Clerk. We will set an example that the accused in the paper leak scandal will be punished even before the examination is held.
He said an immediate inquiry was ordered into the paper leak scandal. Police took immediate action after media reports of a paper leak scandal. A complaint was lodged with the provincial police in the paper leak case. So far, 14 accused have been arrested in the paper leak case. Police have seized Rs 30 lakh in cash till today. The amount of cash is expected to increase in the coming days. Strict action will be taken against all the accused. This will be coordinated to be completed within the historic time limit. Coordination will be done between the departments to expedite the case in the fast track court.
Notably, the main accused Jayesh Patel has been arrested by the police in the case of head clerk paper leak taken by Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board. Two candidates, including Jayesh Patel, were also arrested. Riteish Prajapati and Ronak Sadhu were arrested.
One big revelation after another is being made in the case of paper leak taken by Gujarat Secondary Selection Board. Sabarkantha police have so far arrested eight people in the case. It has been reported that one of the eight accused is contesting the sarpanch election.
The first six and then two more accused in the case were detained by the district police. Mahendra Patel and Jaswant Patel were detained by the police. Mahendra Patel is the candidate for the post of Sarpanch in the Gram Panchayat election of Pogalu village. They were contesting the election with the Kettle symbol. His full name is Mahendrakumar Shankarlal Patel. However, his name was revealed in the paper scandal and his dream of contesting the election has been dashed and it is time for him to go to jail.
