Indian Railways is now offering a new facility for passengers to book tickets. Every day millions of people queue up at stations for unreserved tickets. South Central Railway has launched a ticket withdrawal facility through the QR code to relieve the rush and rush hour problems. The passenger can get a ticket by scanning his ticket even after arriving at the railway station.

According to the Railways, the passenger will be able to book a ticket through the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app, even one km away from the station premises. For this, the user will have to select the QR booking option in the book ticket option in the app. It will then have to be scanned with the QR code applied to the premises of the station. From here the passenger can fill in his travel information and after the payment his ticket will be booked.

Railways say that with this feature on the UTS app, the passenger can easily buy paperless tickets. This ticket will be available on mobile only. This will save people time and reduce congestion on the counters. So far 1 million users of Android have downloaded this app.
