Change in interest rate of Punjab National Bank
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has decided to reduce the interest earned on savings account. Deposit money in Punjab National Bank’s savings account will earn 2.90% interest from September 1. The bank is currently offering 3% interest on it.

EPF account needs to be linked to support
EPFO has made it mandatory to link EPF account to Aadhaar. If you do not link the EPF account and Aadhaar number before September 1, the company’s contribution to your account will be stopped.

It can also make it difficult for you to withdraw money from your EPF account. EPFO holders cannot use EPFO’s services if they are not linked to Account Support.

Axis Bank will implement a positive pay system
Axis Bank will launch a positive pay system from next month. Under this, if you issue a check of more than Rs 50,000, you will have to provide some information related to that check to the bank which pays electronically. This information can be provided via SMS, mobile app, internet banking or ATM.

The bank has to provide the information like date of check, name of the recipient, amount paid, check number.
