Posts: Temporary Assistant Professor/ Temporary Teaching Assistant in Urdu in the Department of Persian, Arabic and Urdu

Qualifications: A good academic record; above 50% at BA and MA with Ph.D., in Urdu from any recognized University. Those candidates who have cleared UGC-NET or JRF are eligible to be considered for the post of Temporary Assistant Professor (Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per month) and those who do not have cleared UGC-NET or JRF will only be considered for the post of Temporary Teaching Assistant (Rs. 20,000/- consolidated per month). Those candidates who have not cleared the UGC-NET or JRF, but completed Ph.D. before July 2009, need to submit an equivalence certificate from the Registrar/ any Competent Authority of the respective institution for considering their candidature for the post of Temporary Assistant Professor.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

How to Apply: The walk in Interview will be held on September 26, 2018 at 11.30 am at the Dean’s office, Faculty of Arts, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara – 390 002. The candidates are requested to bring all relevant documents (Certificates, Mark sheets, Testimonials, Work experience Certificates etc) in original and reach the Faculty of Arts latest by 11.00 am for verification of documents.
