Finally, the wait for candidates seeking admission for MBBS and BDS is over. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to announce National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 first allotment list by July 15, 2017. Candidates are requested to fill in their choices by today. Candidates can check results on  mcc.nic.in

First Allotment List: NEET 2017

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has made an announcement for candidates to fill in choices and lock them by today. Medical Candidates seeking admission through all India quota need to fill in their choices. Candidates can expect NEET 2017 first allotment list to be out by July 15, 2017.
Candidates getting their names in first allotment list will become eligible for admission into MBBS or BDS degree seats through the counselling process. National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 aspirants can check in the seat matrix for both BDS and MBBS degree on official website. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) and is qualified by 2,66,221 male and 3,45,313 female candidates.

Important dates of NEET 2017 Counselling

  • Seat allotment: July 13 and July 14
  • Reporting to colleges: July 16- July 22 (5:00 pm)
  • Round two counselling: Begins from August 1, 2017
  • Round two counselling will end by August 16, 2017 and the remaining vacancies for medical courses will be transferred to state quota. Though only 15% of overall seats are reserved for the overall quota.

You can follow these steps to check NEET 2017 result of first counselling, which will be out by July 15, 2017.
  • Log on to the official website mcc.nic.in
  • Click on relevant link
  • Enter your personal details- registration number and password
  • Click submit
  • First Allotment Result will be displayed
  • Download and take a print out for future reference

About All India Quota Rank

All India Quota Rank is rank for the purpose of all India quota seat allotment. The three cities  Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir are excluded form the list. Candidates of these three cities are not eligible to participate for 15 percent all India quota counselling.

Candidates can check the list by clickinghere.Candidates whose names appear in the first allotment list should report at the allotted Medical/Dental College for admissions between July 16 and July 22 (until 5pm). Candidates should try to take admissions as early as possible and not wait for last day as there are different schedule of holidays/working hours in various medical/dental colleges. In some of the colleges two to three days are required to complete the formalities.If a candidate fails to join the allotted college within the stipulated time his seat will be cancelled and he will not be eligible for next round of counseling.Candidates should keep in mind to carry the following original documents (along with their attested photocopies) while going for admissions:(i) Admit Cards of exam issued by CBSE(ii) Result/ Rank letter issued by CBSE(iii) Date of birth certificate (if metric certificatedoes not bear the same)(iv) Class 10 certificate(v) Class 10+2 certificate(vi) Class 10+2 marks sheet(vii) Eight passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form(viii) Provisional allotment letter generated on-line(ix) Proof of identity(x) Candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC and Physical Handicap (PH) category should also bring certificate of proof issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as specified in the prospectus/information bulletin) and it should be in English or Hindi language. Please go through the prospectus/information bulletin carefully to understand and follow all the requirements regarding this.Candidates should also see the college information, of allotted college for, any other document required by them for admission.The second round of counseling process for eligible candidates will begin on August 1, 2017. The candidates will be given opportunity to exercise their choices, do the locking of choices and go for new registration. The registration process will be open until 5pm on August 4. The process of seat allotment for this round will take place between August 5-7 (3 days). The result of the second round will be published on August 8. Candidates will have to report at the allotted colleges against round 2 from August 9 to 5pm on August 16.The counseling process for AIQ seats will end after two rounds and the vacant seats would betransferred to the state quota. The first year session for MBBS and BDS students would commence from August 4, 2017.
